Making progress on both of these drawings. Colored pencil is so-ooo slow. I think I finally have decided to branch out. I've bought myself more pan pastels and watched a few videos. I have pastel paper in the paper drawer so whenever the pastels arrive I'll be ready to make a switch. I'm excited. In the meantime I'll continue on these two pieces.
Earth Mother is moving right along. Ready to start on the body made of birch bark, a face behind the rose with a crown of dogwood flowers. The kids will someday have faces.
